Set of 7 Henri D'Arceau Limoges Lafayette Legacy Collectors Plates, Complete

We are pleased to offer this fabulous set of seven (7) Henri D’Arceau first edition porcelain of Limoges, France plates from the Lafayette Legacy collection. Included is a beautiful embossed brown leather-bound official record book all organized with each plates certificate of origin and story booklet inside. Plates measure 8 3/8” in diameter and comes complete in original Styrofoam boxes and sketches.

This collection was issued at the behest of the L'Esprit de Lafayette Society and commemorates the establishment of the United States of America and the role played in that establishment by Marie Joseph Paul Yves Roch Gilbert du Motier, Marquis de Lafayette. This edition portrays 6 signal moments in Lafayette's American Revolutionary War career in original art by Andre' Restieau, O.L., on D'Arceau-Limoges porcelain fired to the Grellet Standard of 1773. The 7th plate is a special museum plate that was fired exclusively for and inscribed with the name of the original subscriber.

Condition Report: All plates are in excellent condition in original boxes and comes with official record book, certificates, story booklets and sketches. Pictures depict the actual items you will receive.
