We are pleased to offer this exceptionally rare original 1943 Emanuel Romano wrapped oil on burlap canvas painting entitled, Mother and Beatrice. This “one of a kind” painting depicts what we believe to be the artist’s mother with his sister Beatrice and a gray cat all showing contemplative expressions on their faces.

This incredibly detailed painting measures 30” wide x 40” high and has E. Glicen Romano 163/274 hand signed on the top backside of wood stretcher in large print. It also has a white information label attached on the back that reads: "No. 167, Title: Mother & Beatrice, Medium: Oil on Canvas, Date: 1943, Signature: none, Size: 30" x 40." There’s also an added bonus of an incomplete sketch in pencil the artist started on the backside of this fabulous canvas!
