Emanuel Romano Dream Original 28 x 36 Oil on Burlap Canvas Painting, Hand Signed

We are pleased to offer this exceptionally rare original 1953 Emanuel Romano wrapped oil on burlap canvas painting entitled, Dream. This “one of a kind” painting depicts a herder with goats and a dog within a yellow circle shadow that’s surrounded by colorful buildings. This incredibly detailed painting measures 28” wide x 36” high and features a white information label attached on the back that reads: "No. 638, Title: Dream, Medium: Oil on Canvas, Date: 1953, Signature: none, Size: 28" x 36."

The backside is hand signed by the artist, E. Romano, Dream. It’s also addressed to someone that’s handwritten in blue, 74 State St, Boston, Mass. (an actual address of a traditional brownstone that was built in 1896 by S.D. Kelley, one of the Back Bay’s most prolific architects.)

Condition Report: Good overall condition with some wear as expected with age. The canvas has a small hole (approximately half inch in diameter) toward the bottom in the center, see last two pictures for closeup circled in white. Please refer to all pictures as they depict the actual item you are considering.
