We are pleased to offer this exceptionally rare original 1960 Emanuel Romano oil painting on burlap canvas entitled, Knitting Figure. This very large “one of a kind” painting depicts a seated figure in a robe holding knitting needles in a rather somber-looking room and is hand signed by the artist in the lower left corner, “E. Romano.”

This incredibly detailed painting measures 40” wide x 59” high and is mounted on a wood stretcher that sits inside a beautiful bronze color ornate wood frame that measures 48” wide x 68” high. The backside of the canvas has a white information label that reads, Emanuel Romano 1897-1984, No. 969, Title: Knitting Figure, Medium: Oil on Canvas, Date: 1960, Signature: Lower Left, Size: 40 x 59.
