We are pleased to offer this exceptionally rare antique Charles Wilder original barometer and thermometer stick in a beautiful carved mahogany case dating back to 1865. This fabulous instrument measures 38” long x 5” wide and has a glass mercury filled tube that is still present and intact. Check out the great article in the last picture about the maker of this very fine example of an original American stick barometer.

The head of the barometer features two engraved brass faceplates with incremental scales from 27 to 31 and a scale on the right that is die-stamped at the top with the Maker’s information “Charles Wilder / Peterboro N.H.” “Woodruff’s / PAT. June 5, 1860.”
