Antique French Renaissance Carved Walnut Bookcase Display Cabinet with Key

We are pleased to offer this exceptionally rare antique French Renaissance heavily carved 4-door walnut bookcase with key dating back to the 1800’s. This gorgeous cabinet features two center glass doors with a total of six adjustable wood shelves. The two heavily carved side doors also have a total of six adjustable shelves with dovetailed drawers below. The ornate carving continues with elaborate foliate scrollwork on the top and side façades with more intricate hand-carved molding around the bottom. The details and craftsmanship on this beautiful piece are exquisite!

As was customary in the 1800's, this cabinet piece breaks down into 11 pieces for easy transportation and the pieces have been numbered to help make disassembling and reassembling easier!
