Artist: Pablo Ruiz Picasso (1881-1973) Spain

We are pleased to offer this exceptional 1951 original lithograph on paper Les Metamorphoses titled "Cephale tue par megarde sa Femme Procris" by artist Pablo Picasso. Measures 11” high x 8.5” wide and is hand signed in the lower right-hand corner by Picasso. Comes with original certificate of authenticity issued by Art + Auction located in Zurich. Certificate is signed by the executive director, Andre Frey who is listed as an art director, artist and consultant living in Basil, Switzerland.

Provenance: artwork was previously within the collection of Dr. Anne Wertheimer. Dr. Anne Wertheimer was the wife of German art dealer and collector Otto Wertheimer who was the son of German art collector Asher Wertheimer and the owner of Galerie LesTurettes in Paris.

Condition Report: Very good condition with original certificate of authenticity.
